Key specs explained
HVAC Stages: 3H/2C heat pump, 2H/2C conventional
This spec defines the number of heating and cooling stages your system supports. The unit handles three heating and two cooling stages for heat pumps, or two of each for conventional systems. You need this exact match to avoid wiring errors. If your system has more stages, this thermostat will not control all of them. Check your manual to confirm your system type before buying.
Dimensions: 4.09" x 4.09" x 1.06"
The physical size determines if the device fits your existing wall space. The square footprint measures 4.09 inches on each side. The depth is only 1.06 inches, which is slim. This low profile helps it sit flush against most walls. You should measure your current thermostat hole to ensure compatibility. A larger unit might cover old paint marks or damage around the previous device.
Display: 2.5" x 2.5"
The screen size affects how easily you can read settings and temperatures. A 2.5-inch square display is moderately sized. It is large enough to show current and target temperatures clearly. You can view your system status without leaning in close. This size balances visibility with the compact wall footprint. Smaller screens can be hard to read in low light, while larger ones take up more wall space.
Color: White
The white finish allows the thermostat to blend into standard interior walls. Most homes use white or off-white paint for trim and walls. This color choice minimizes visual clutter in your living space. You do not need to paint over the unit to match your decor. If your walls are a bold color, the white frame will stand out. Consider this when choosing a device for a modern or minimalist room design.
